Introduction
Dubai Women Establishment is a government entity championing the role of Emirati women in Dubai's socio-economic development, led by Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Requirement
The client required a digital transformation of an outdated website into a platform that reflected government authority while remaining accessible and easy to navigate. The objective was to organise extensive research, strategic plans, and media archives into a clear structure without overwhelming visitors, while balancing strict government protocol with a modern, premium aesthetic. Due to the highly tailored layout required, the solution needed custom widget development on top of WordPress, restructuring content into five core pillars covering leadership, strategy, initiatives, knowledge, and media. The result was a custom WordPress platform following DWE's brand identity and built to government compliance accessibility standards, delivering an interactive strategy visualisation, a filterable knowledge hub, and independent content management that increased engagement with DWE's strategic reports.
